Expert Commercial Plumbing
and Sprinkler Installations
While today Evco is known as an expert for commercial plumbing, when EVCO Mechanical was launched nearly 40 years ago, it began as a humble plumbing company, providing gas, sanitary, and domestic plumbing installation and maintenance services. Over the years, we’ve expanded our service offerings so we can provide the best possible service and value to our customers. Despite amassing an extensive range of expertise across some facility management disciplines, we continue to be the area’s most respected commercial-plumbing company.
Our customers benefit from our ability to expertly meet all their building-system needs, including wet and dry fire protection, low- and high-pressure gas, and process-liquid management. We install, maintain, diagnose, repair, and replace all plumbing, sprinkler, and gas lines, fixtures, appurtenances, and other equipment. From small-copper domestic-water lines to welded high-pressure gas lines, we are adept at installing and repairing the entire spectrum of plumbing systems.

No matter how big or complex the job, our overarching focus is on delivering exceptional quality and value and reducing or even eliminating its impact on your normal business operations.
We are familiar with all major brands of plumbing equipment and, with nearly 40 years of experience serving multi-family buildings, condos, co-ops, commercial-office buildings, colleges, healthcare facilities, universities, k-12 education, and religious centers, we’re exceptionally attuned the specific needs, challenges, and trends associated with these types of settings, which enables us to provide the best possible solutions and support.

We’ll accomplish what you need with little or no interruption to your business.
Commercial Gas Line Installation
Gas leaks and other gas-line problems are among the most dangerous emergencies that can affect your facility. As a commercial building owner, facilities manager, or building manager, you’re responsible for the gas lines associated with your property. Your liability begins at the gas meter, so any problem that occurs anywhere on the lines is your responsibility. Improper installation, inferior materials, and the age and pressure of a gas pipe can all play a role in causing a dangerous gas leak. Therefore, it’s essential that a deeply experience commercial crew install, upgrade, and replace your gas lines.
Gas Leak Warning: A gas leak is identifiable through its smell. While natural gas is odorless and colorless, suppliers add a sulfuric (rotten egg) smell to quickly identify a leak. If you detect this odor—or reported by one of your tenants—don’t attempt to investigate. Immediately evacuate the entire building and notify the gas company of a possible leak. If a gas leak is confirmed, the gas company will cut off the supply of gas to your building.
Wet and Dry Fire Protection
As part of our comprehensive facilities-management-service offerings, Evco Mechanical designs and installs automatic sprinkler systems, which provide superior commercial fire protection to safeguard your facilities and tenants. We carefully consider your fire-protection needs, budgetary specifications, and design considerations to design and install the ideal fire-protection system for your specific requirements. Throughout the process, we provide exceptional support and deep expertise, leveraging our working knowledge of fire codes and insurance requirements to ensure your system is fully compliant. Whether you need a traditional wet-fire protection system or an advanced dry-pipe system (in which pressurized air or nitrogen is used to extinguish flames, rather than water), we have the experience and knowledge to meet your needs.
